Chanel Vintage Crossbody Flap bag

A beautiful vintage black flap Chanel crossbody bag with the iconic CC turn lock. There is a hallmark on the turn lock showing us that the gold hardware is plated in 24k gold. Chanel stopped plating with real gold in late 2008. There are some lovely Chanel branding details on this bag, under the flap the CC is stitched under the flap and there are two clips Chanel branded also. From the serial number we know this bag was made between 1986-1988. The chain can be worn as a crossbody or a shoulder bag, the drop is 55cm.

This bag is in good vintage condition, with some signs of wear, please view all photos before buying. There is some light creasing to the leather and on the back of the bag the leather and some edges the leather is slightly rough where it has been worn. Inside the bag the leather lining is in very good vintage condition, rare for a bag of this age. The serial sticker is still intact inside the bag. This bag still has its care booklet and the original Chanel dust bag.
